Fixing Invalid Partition Table Error:
1. First of all insert Windows XP CD and enter recovery console by pressing R.
2. In the command prompt enter the following fixboot c: and fixmbr
3. Reboot the PC and problem should be solved.
If this does not solve your problem download Hirens Boot Recovery CD and go into partitioning tools section.
Select SMART FDISK and it should state that your partition are incorrect.For example your C partition does not start from the beginning of the hard drive as it should.
Select automatic repair and problem should be solved.
